Hijab Tutorials with Headpieces

Whether you’re getting ready to attend a fancy event or just want to jazz up your hijab style, adding a headpiece to your hijab is a great way to add some glamour and drama to your look. There are so many different ways to accessorize your hijab style and a headpiece is just one of those few ways.

I’ve put together a collection of hijab tutorials with headpieces for you. All of these looks are versatile, and also offer different ways to incorporate headpieces into your hijab routine. So have a look and try them out!

Nabiilabee

Nabiilabee’s tutorial uses a South Asian style headpiece, one that features chains on the sides as well as a piece in the centre (the teeka). This is a great tutorial for special occasions since it shows how to incorporate a heavy piece of jewellery onto a simpler hijab style.

What I love about this tutorial is how simple it is. Nabiilabee also shows a few different ways to wear this particular headpiece, and even lets her viewers know where it’s from.

This is a look you can do if you’re wearing South Asian clothes or other outfits too; with something so big and sparkly though, you would probably want to pick a non-patterned scarf, like Nabiilabee did here.

Hijabs by Hanan

What I love about this tutorial is the versatility of it. Hanan not only shows you how to add a headband to her hijab routine, but also how to add extra drapes for chest coverage.

If you’re looking to experiment with your hijab style to get more coverage in the front, this tutorial even without the headband aspect is a great resource. It’s easy and perfect for everyday.

Adding a headband is another great way to add some sparkle to your outfit, and it’s great because it’s not an overly large piece and doesn’t overpower your hijab.

Saman Munir

If you’re looking for an easy way to wear a teeka/tikka with your hijab (again with both Eastern and Western clothes), look no further than Saman’s tutorial!

There are a few different ways to add a teeka to hijab, but Saman’s tutorial is probably the easiest, simplest one I’ve seen. She also shows you how to add folds on the top of your hijab for some extra volume.

Amenakin

Amena’s tutorial offers another way to add a headpiece to your hijab: by wearing a daisy chain. Daisy chains are Amena’s products, but you can easily find hair or head chains in many stores now and they can easily be added to hijabs to add some sparkle. Another way to make your own head chain is to use a thin chain necklace that you already have. Just follow Amena’s tutorial for adding it to your hijab and you’re all set!

Hope you beautiful girls found this useful!

With love.
