One of my favourite places to shop for hijabs or scarves is from H&M. As previously mentioned in The Muslim Girl’s Guide for New HIjabis, scarves from H&M function well as hijabs since they’re available all season round and can be found in a whole bunch of colours and patterns.
I recently went to H&M and found these floral patterned ones for less than $8.00 (CAD/US) each! They had four in the same price range, but I grabbed these three since I’m a sucker for florals.
Here they are closeup:
This one has a white background and has a more delicate, girlish floral pattern. This would look lovely with a lace-edged white or even a pleated pale pink dress. Pair it with some pearls and a statement ring and you’ve got a girly, cute outfit.
This one is more of a vintage floral, with chunkier flowers on a black background. Towards the ends of the scarf, the flowers fade away and the ends are simply black. You could pair this with a black or navy maxi dress, with a cropped or regular jean jacket. Keep one side of the hijab long on one side for a laid back look.
The last one is the most beautiful! The flowers look almost like watercolours on the dull blue background, and it pairs well together with anything light blue or even a coral maxi dress. You don’t need any other accessories because this scarf catches all the attention!
All the scarves are 100% polyester, cost $7.95, and are wide enough to wear as a hijab. They can be found in H&M’s current collection.
What I love about H&M scarves is that they’re usually lightweight and wide enough to wrap around your head or neck. They often have a range of these $7.95 scarves, especially in the spring and summer, which are a lovely way to spruce up your spring/summer wardrobe without breaking the bank.
So if you’re looking for some new hijabs or scarves, make sure you stop by your local H&M to pick up one (or more) of these scarves. Hope you found this useful!
Keep smiling, beautiful girls!
