So many of us get caught up in the hustle and bustle of this world, which definitely keeps us busy, but can also make us feel lonely. We spend so much time online, and with people we’ve never met or never spoken to, yet barely speak to our own family members when we come home at night. We choose to spend time with ourselves, rather than others, which results in loneliness.
We so often forget that Allah is with us, no matter if we are in a crowd or by ourselves. He is with us whether we’re happy or sad, lonely or among friends. He is with us when we call on Him and even when we don’t.
After Ramadan, it can be easy to feel like the blessings are gone, but that’s definitely not the case! Allah has not forsaken us, but is indeed with us wherever we go and whenever we remember Him, and even when we don’t. We often feel like we can only talk to Allah after salah or during Ramadan, but it’s important to remember that Allah is there for us throughout the year, day or night. Whether you’re in distress or are lonely, never forget the power of Allah.
When you think the world has abandoned you, never forget that Allah is always there for you. No matter what.
A reminder for myself before anyone else.
