There are only a few precious days of Ramadan left, and Eid is just around the corner. While it can be easy to get caught up in preparations for Eid, and in all the things that you plan to do after Ramadan is over, it’s important not to forget the countless blessings that Allah has promised us in these last few days of Ramadan. So take advantage of the blessings in Ramadan before they disappear!
SubhanAllah, the blessings in Ramadan that Allah has promised us are miraculous. To begin with, we are promised tremendous reward for simply fasting during this holy month, but that doesn’t include all the other blessings. Whether it’s making duas, reading Quran, doing dhikr, remembering Allah, or simply doing good deeds, all the rewards for doing things that we should be doing anyway are multiplied.
So make good use of these days and take advantage of the countless blessings. Take some time out of your days and nights to read Quran. Make dua for yourself, for your family, your friends, your community, the ummah, and all those who are suffering and are oppressed around the world. Learn some new duas. Offer extra salah. Give charity. Do dhikr. Do good deeds.
Allah has offered us so many blessings in Ramadan but we often forget to take advantage of them because we get consumed by things in this world. We think that the things in this world are more important than our afterlife, and forget to work towards it.
So take a break from the concerns of this world and work towards your akirah. There are so many little things you can do, that will come to your aid when you need it the most. You don’t know if you’ll ever live to another Ramadan, if you’ll ever have another chance to worship and pray in these holy nights, so take advantage of it. There is no guarantee for this life.
A reminder for myself before anyone else.
